Defending Champ Raging Regine and challenger Marvelous Mimi square off in a brutal boxing brawl for League supremacy. No, we're not going into the Pit. The gallery there can't hold the crowd who clamored to witness this event. Instead we've set up our ring in a former high school gymnasium that can accommodate the throng. I won't go into the details of the TDC except to say that this is the deciding match. Regine must win one this to keep her title. Mimi must win this one to take the title from Regine. The Champ must lose two straight to the same challenger within a four-week period for the title to change hands. And the challenger must declare a title challenge before the start of the first match. Despite the drubbing Regine took last week, she insisted that the rematch take place as soon as possible. Apparently she healed faster than she thought she would. She told me, and I quote, "I've fought and beaten some of the best in the femme fight world. I don't let that muscle-bound dyke intimidate me in the least. If I did, I may as well give up the League right now and forfeit my title. Hah! Fat chance of that." As for Mimi, she confided, and again I'm quoting directly, "Fuck that no-talent underwear model. The day hasn't dawned that I can't whip her candy-ass without half trying. I should've been the Champ this year. So I'm just a few weeks late picking up my crown. I'll knock that bitch right out of the ring. She'll be so humiliated she'll never show her face in the BWL again." I won't bore you with any more inane commentary or speculation.
